MEXICO CITY -- Mexican prosecutors announced Saturday they have filed drug and weapons charges against five men accused of working as hit men for the
feared Tijuana-based Arellano Felix drug cartel.
The members of the "Black Commando" gang were arrested recently in the Baja California city of Ensenada. They allegedly kidnapped members of rival
drug gangs.
The five men were charged with illegal weapons possession, organized crime and drug possession, the Attorney General's Office said in a press
statement.
They are being held at a prison in Mexico City pending possible trial.
