Hot ~ Hot ~ Hot Weather is definitely summertime conditions! Generally this equates to hot catching and indeed the reports reflect this. Lots of
very happy anglers, and many wonderful stories to be told back home. We are pleased to provide some of this weeks highlights as follows:
Captain Hector aboard 35' Bertram "CABO MAGIC" was delighted to welcome back amigo Dr Doug Smith of Long Beach, California whose two day totals are
very impressive ~ ~ 1 Blue Marlin released and estimated by Capt Hector at 450#, 1 Striped Marlin released and two Pacific Sailfish released
estimated in the 150-160# class each. Another great trip for Dr Doug!
Brandon Boggs, John Boggs, Steven Boggs, Josh Boggs, and Bryce Boggs returned from Merced, California to fish with us, this time aboard our 38'
Pearson "ADRENALINE" and boast these summary numbers: 4 Striped Marlin released, 1 Wahoo and 1 Yellowfin Tuna. Great trip report amigos!
Amigos James Irwin and Stuart Pierce, of Quality Glass of Santa Clara, California released 3 Striped Marlin in their day aboard our 31' Bertram "CABO
MAGIC Dos". Way to go gentlemen!!
In their first visit to Cabo San Lucas, Perry and LeeAnn Perkins of Scottsdale, Arizona fished with us aboard one of our new team boats, 32' Luhrs
"QUEEN VICTORIA" and successfully released 1 Striped Marlin and boated 1 lovely Dorado. On our recommendation they had their dorado fish cooked to
order at The Crazy Lobster on Hidalgo Street. LeeAnn says it was a "fantastic meal and the place was very clean and lots of fun!" They enjoyed
after dinner shots of tequila and delicious homemade flan for dessert. LeeAnn went on to say they told their server they were CABO MAGIC Clients and
their dinner was free! They were charged "only for the extras" and they were "pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the bill was".
Amigo Andy Razzo of Morristown, New Jersey fished for 5 hours with us inshore on a panga and boated 2 Dorado. His wife Rosemary was excited about the
catch! We had one fish frozen and vacu-sealed at BajaPapas for them and they had the other dorado prepared for dinner at MARGARITAVILLE on the
marina. Rosemary tells us their son and daughter are eager for them to return home to share with them!
Visiting from Florence, Oregon, new amigos and newlyweds Ben and Amy Kane also had a fun time fishing on a panga catching 4 Dorado. They donated most
of the fish to the captain. They did enjoy their fish prepared at a Playa Grande restaurant suggested by the concierge there.
Amigo Barry Anderson from Dana Point, California wanted to catch a roosterfish this time ~ He caught and released two of them! Nice going Barry!
Returning amigos, brothers Dean Miller and Ron Miller from Austin, Texas tried out our new team boat 26' "IVONNE" and released 1 Striped Marlin. Dean
says "We came to golf this trip but had to at least get on the water for a half day!"
We were pleased to say "Welcome Back" to amigos Robert & Michelle Beach and Shane & Katy Beach of Fort Worth, Texas and wish they had more
than just a day on the water .. sometimes that's fishing. There's always next time!
We were pleased to welcome Professor Ron Larson and his lovely wife Deanna, along with Rons brother Bud and his lovely wife Janet aboard "ADRENALINE"
for two half days for fishing and snorkel time. Professor Larson writes mathematics textbooks ( www.ronlarson.com ) This wonderful group visited from Erie Pennsyvania and Reno, Nevada.
Amigos Ben, Matt and Randy of Hoboken "YO" New Jersey fished with us and released 1 Blue Marlin. A great day they say, and they plan to come back and
do it again!
A long way from home in Seeley Lake, Montana, new amigos Bill Rogers, Jamie Cruz, and Paul McGhee released 2 Striped Marlin fishing with us aboard
"QUEEN VICTORIA". Paul said they left the camera back at their hotel room but will have the memories captured forever in their minds eyes.
Back to fish with us again from Eugene Oregon, amigos Ralph Edison and Mac McPherson had good fun on a panga and caught 1 Cabrilla and 1 Dorado. At
our suggestion Ralph says they had the dorado prepared at "ALEXANDERS" on the marina and it was a fantastic and memorable meal. They gave the
cabrilla to Capt Hugo for he and his family to enjoy and they sure did!
Amigo Tony Trujillo of San Diego, California says he cant get enough of fishing with us! He is remodeling his house in Pedregal and came down for a
quick check on the project. Tony snuck away for a five hour panga trip and caught 2 Dorado! Tony always has 'suerte" (Spanish for luck)
Retirees, and new amigos Vern and Becki Brown of Cathedral City, California said they got to see for themselves what all the excitement is about!
They fished with us their first day aboard 26' Sportcraft "IVONNE" and Vern fought and released 1 Striped Marlin and Becki caught the Dorado! Their
second day they released 1 Pacific Sailfish + boated 2 Yellowfin Tuna 15# and 30#. We suggested they have their fish prepared at SPENCERS
Restaurant inside of Mar De Cortez Hotel up the street from our office and they said it was the best meal ever! We had their yellowfin tuna smoked at
BAJA PAPAS for them to bring back home to share with friends, while they tell some fantastic stories to their friends! We think they are hooked now
too and look forward to welcoming them back again soon!
Visiting from Round Rock, Texas, amigos Bill L Wittie, Bill G Wittie, Brenda and Donnie Aston in one day aboard our flagship 35' Bertram "CABO MAGIC"
released 1 Blue Marlin estimated at 400# and released 2 Striped Marlin. Nice day folks!
New amigos and amigas Joshua Greene, Brad Ginsberg, Marianne Brady, Rachel Stein of Hollywood Hills, California spent a day with us aboard "QUEEN
VICTORIA" and released 1 Striped Marlin + boated 2 Yellowfin Tuna. Marianne says all they had an awesome day and cant wait to return and do it again!
First time visitor and new amigo Allen Gallagher from Boise, Idaho was the solo guest aboard our 26' Sportcraft "IVONNE" and had an outstanding day!
He released 1 Striped Marlin + 1 Pacific Sailfish released + 1 Dorado was boated. He said he doesnt eat fish so he gave the crew the dorado.
Amiga Evelyn Kaler of Lone Oak, Texas aboard "ADRENALINE" fought and released 1 Black Marlin estimated at 400# ~ Way to go Evelyn!
The Randall Winchell Party of Charleston, South Carolina fought caught and released 2 Striped Marlin aboard our 31' Bertram "CABO MAGIC Dos"

New amgios Rafael Mendez and Gholan Jahromi of Seal Beach, California fished aboard our panga and boated 10 Dorado + 1 Yellowfin Tuna! Thats a great
time on the water!
The Roger Marin Group of Redlands, California released 2 Striped Marlin and boated 1 Dorado fishing with us aboard BRONCO I. Where did you go for
dinner???
The Karl Muehller Group of Amigos visting from Eugene, Oregon fishing with us aboard 35' Bertram "CABO MAGIC" boated 8 Yellowfin Tuna + 2 Dorado
today. They enjoyed some of their ahi prepared several different ways at NIK SAN from our list of recommended restaurants. We are having the
balance smoked for them at BAJA PAPAS. The dorado will be prepared with Sunday brunch at their villa in Pedregal by the chef on staff.
Aboard "CABO MAGIC Dos" amigo Eddie Campbell and friends from Des Moines, Iowa boated 8 Yellowfin Tuna + 1 Dorado. Here again we are having the
majority of their tuna smoked for them. The Dorado was taken to have prepared for dinner but the location is a mystery at the writing of this report.
