Im going to be in La Paz doing a little work over the Mexican Independence Day weekend and it has been quite awhile since I been there. Im lookin for a great hotel. If it is expensive I dont care....My company pick up the tab. Please let me know also about a car rental place. I want to take a drive to Cabo and play golf. Any nomads who want to get together for a bite to eat u2u me... Thanks, LIPS

Unless someone asks, I would assume that everyone has photos of themselves they could post if they wanted. They may not want your help.

What if LL is recently single, has lost weight, has started power-lifting, is using Grecian Formula and wants to start a new life as someone else ! :lol:

What if he is(was)undercover and bad people are looking for/found
him ? :lol:

Personally, I find photos of myself depressing these days ! :lol:

Photos of your trips are another thing; post away ! :yes:

Lizard Lips, when I go to La Paz I always stay at Los Arcos Cabanas. Right in town, easy walk to dinner, along the malecon: just a convenient place. There are certainly more modern and more luxurious places.
I dont even know the names of the places out by the marina but that might be nice too. Maybe some of the Paisanos(is that correct for people from La Paz) can help you more if we can get them back on track.
I dont play golf but if you find yourself in San Jose, look me up. All the info you would need is on my website, listed below.

Please Try the Hotel marina. I think it is the best place to stay in La paz. Try the Taco Stand "Bizmark II" for good Sea food.

Actually I prefer Gonzalez Hermanos for side of the road seafood tacos. Their smoked marlin empanadas are fantastic.

Guys, LL knows this photo is on the Internet and we consider each other amigos.

There was a time, not long ago, that people here enjoyed seeing what there fellow Baja nuts looked like... Not sure why that has changed, but this new type of Nomad seems to like secrecy and anonymousity. Whereas the older Nomads wanted to meet and be friendly.

Not wanting to cause all this unhappiness, I will pull the above post with LL's photo, and simply invite anyone to see him or several dozen others at http://vivabaja.com/vivabaja3 or the other Viva Baja or BBBB party web pages.

Yes, I know what he does for a living... He smiled for the photo (taken by either Bedman or BajaMur) and knows it is on the Viva Baja 3 photo web page. Nobody should have to have there photo on the Internet if they don't want to... Everyone who has posed for a photo that is now on my web site knows they can email me to have it removed, no drama needed.

What is wrong is when someone uses a telephoto lens to take a photo of you unknowingly, then it is posted on the Internet to embarrass you or your child (who was also in the photo)... where that site's owner refuses to remove it... You see there is a reason to not support such a site (b***dot net). That photo of me scratching my back side is still circulated by those 'men' on that site... Kinda makes you wonder..??

Before and after pictures of me in swim attire were once shown to a boys highschool gym class. After treating many of them for shock, they all underwent counselling to enable them to eat and avoid constant excercise again.

Boy were they scared when we bumped and almost overturned their panga !: lol:

You have my permission to post my picture. You don't have one, but maybe some day.
If you do catch my fat belly it will make me laugh and some puke. The responsibility lies with the person who allows their photo to be taken not with the photographer. The responsibility of the photographer to to be respectful and ask for permission to take some person photo. I do not think any of you would be so dumb as to think a picture taken will never be seen by others. If you have a dark life or are self conscious don't make your problems the responsibility of others tell them not to take your photograpth. To the people that object to my post, photography is life, get over it.

That boat looks like the Marisla that sank 6-7 years ago and is now refitted and looks nice, you can see on the bay driving down the Malecon. The all inclusive rate seems reasonable.

You guys really crack me. Im sitting at a cafe internet here on the Malacon in La Paz reading all these posts and no I dont care if David post my picture even though it is a really bad one. Ive lost 40 pounds since then but still have the same loving Wife. % years ago I wouldnt want my photo on the net due to the work I was doing and wouldnt want to compromise my security but now I really dont care. Im staying at the Crown Plaza and I think Im the only one there! Leaving tomorrow anyway. Thanks for the laughs.........
