Casa Plasencia is located in front of the Agua caliente towers in Tijuana, its a Spanish mediterranean restaurant that serves the best Lechon Asado
this side of the Atlantic, i also tried the paella and was pretty awesome, the argentinian parilladas are also very good, and the fresh oven baked
salmon in a white wine sauce and asparragus was muy bueno. The restaurant feels like a restaurant in spain, they have a wonderful oven that dominates
the main seating area, the wine list is extensive and consist of mostly Baja, Spanish, and Italian wines, and they have a little but very nice bar
called "El Burladero"wich is decorated beautifully with bullfighting memorabilia, it has a big private table that can acomodate up to 10 people in
that area, so you can book your group for added privacy.
Casa Plasencia is great if you want to experiencie real mediterranean and spanish food, the prices are 9 to 17usd for the main dishes, Pastas from 6
to 13usd, antipasti and tapas run from 2 to 7usd, and wine is relatively inexpensive.
If one day you are in Tijuana, check it out, the Lechon or cabrito al horno is something to remember.
