61 Team Captains report the following summary numbers for the period 18-24 September 2005
6 Blue Marlin
19 Striped Marlin
16 Pacific Sailfish
88 Dorado
8 Yellowfin Tuna
8 Wahoo
2 Skipjack
7 boats were "skunked" - they had no luck "suerte"
This weekly reported period provided lots of wonderful anecdotal opportunities as many clients found themselves battling the biggest fish they had
ever seen! Bravo to those willing to release these billfish monsters. We support catch-revive-release of all fish not considered 'eating' fish and
applaud those that do so.
This weeks quantity billfish is the Pacific Sailfish. Striped Marlin second. Blue Marlin third. Several large wahoo were boated - much to the
understandable delight of our clients this week. Lots of acrobatic dorado were boated as well. Many delicious meals were prepared at some of our fine
local restaurants and enjoyed, as well as some fish prepared to bring back home to be shared with friends, family and loved ones as well.

Congratulations to Amigos John Gillett and John Trager of Merriam Kansas/Tower Lakes, Illinois for their GRAND SLAM in their day with us aboard CABO
MAGIC - they released 1 Blue Marlin 300# class, released 1 Striped Marlin + released 1 Pacific Sailfish too!
Amigos Greg Sommers and Kyle Peterson visiting from Carlsbad, California caught 6 good sized dorado fishing with us to start the period fishing aboard
our QUEEN VICTORIA.
Aboard CABO MAGIC, nuevo amigos the David Geraci Group of San Jose, California had a fine day indeed. They released 1 Blue Marlin estimated by Capt
Hector in the 300# class, released 1 Pacific Sailfish and boated 3 Dorado. Where did you dine? Please do let us know!
Happy to welcome aboard first time amigos Fernando and Betsy Aquilar - Tempe, Arizona who fished with us aboard our YAYO and boated 6 Dorado. Betsy
tells us they enjoyed dinner one night each at La Casa Del Dorado, Alexanders on the marina, and at Casa Rafael.
Amigos Kimberly and Ron asked us to use their first names only - as of Portland knows they were coming to fish with us! They boated 3 lovely dorado
and had one fish prepared at Crazy Lobster and had one fish frozen to bring back with them. They generously gave the third fish to the crew aboard
Ivonne.
Amigos Brianne and Todd Perkins of Redondo Beach, California teturned to fish with us aboard Yayo and Todd released 1 Pacific Sailfish.
Happy to welcome aboard Kris Little and Mike Renton visitors from Lake Oswego, Oregon who boated 3 Dorado on their day fishing with us. Kris tells us
they had dinner at OLE OLE and that Mike gave one bag of fish to folks from a boat that returned to the marina without any, and brought one bag into
our office for us to enjoy too! Thank you Amigos Kris and Mike!
Returning to fish with us, Amigos Mike and Kelli Ekker, Jay Jansen, Annette Boettcher of Kewaskum, Wisconsin fished with us two days and post these
very impressive totals CR&R 1 Blue Marlin + 1 Wahoo + 9 Dorado + CR&R 2 Striped Marlin + 2 Pacific Sailfish released. Now thats cause for
celebration!
Musicians from Austin Texas, amigos Mike and Pat Wheeler fished one day with us and released 1 Pacific Sailfish, boated 1 Wahoo and 1 Dorado. They
gave away most of their fish to the crew aboard, and brought some fish to NIK SAN Japanese Restaurant where they enjoyed a wonderful dinner.
New Amigos Al and Sandi Romeu and friends from Jacksonville, Florida fished two days with us aboard ADRENALINE boating 4 Dorado and released 2 Striped
Marlin.
Mark Rothermel and his friends travelled from Geneva, Florida to fish with us aboard CABO MAGIC. Their very impressive four day totals: 1 Blue Marlin
released (350# class) 3 Pacific Sailfish released and they board 1 Wahoo 50#. A pleasure having you aboard amigos!
The Kevin LaMont Group ~ Kevin, Don, Carol, Perry ~ of Corona Del Mar, California fished with us aboard our 28 SUELTA ME and successfully released 1
Striped Marlin ~ Way to go amigos!
Amigos Chris Hogg and the GulfElectroQuip Group left early to take care of things back home in Katy Texas after Hurricane Rita passed thru. We look
forward to welcoming you back.
Amigos Jim and Patrice Graffigna of Grapevine, Texas took the weekend off to fish with us. They released 1 Striped Marlin and some skipjack.
Amigo Michael Stoddart and The Silver State Mortgage Group of Las Vegas, Nevada fished with us aboard 54' Bertram BAD COMPANY and had a fine day
indeed - they released 1 Pacific Sailfish and boated 2 Dorado, one that weighed in at 65#.
Fishing aboard BAD COMPANY, the SMARTLENDING Group of Encinitas, California, amigos Rob & Tanya Schliff, Jennifer Portnoy, Scott Hinton, Doug
Lober released 2 Striped Marlin.
The Rosario Buscema Group of CENTEX Homes in Henderson, Nevada caught a Blue Marlin, released 1 Pacific Sailfish and boated 3 small tuna.
Back to have a grand time on the water, Amigoa De Grupo John Sutton fished with us aboard ADRENALINE and BRONCO and in their first of two days
released 2 Striped Marlin and boated 2 Wahoo and 3 Dorado.
