Santa Rosalia Bakery

The Gull - 10-16-2003 at 10:52 PM

I've been to the famous bakery El Bolero in Santa Rosalia. I heard that they had a guy who worked for them who left and opened a bakery somewhere else in Santa Rosalia. Any hints on how to find it? Anyone Know the name of it?

Tom

How did you learn sooo much about local spots like this?

That place would be hard to find.

Is the stuff that good???

Minnow, Thanks for the hot tip. Last trip thru the area we tried to relive the old days but were duly disappointed at the results at El Bolero. We can't wait to find 'El Bachicha'. wee just have to time our arrival at 7 or 3 :tumble:

HI
I LIVE IN SANTA ROSALIA AND YES THERE IS ANOTHER EXCELLENT BAKERY HERE. IT REALLY IS A HIDDEN SECRET. I JUST WENT TO THE PACIFIC TO VISIT FRIENDS AND THEY ALWAYS REQUEST BREAD FROM NOPELTA. BRING ENOUGH FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY AND THAT IS BAGS OF BREAD. EMAIL ME IF YOU WANT ME TO TAKE YOU THERE BECAUSE IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND
