34 Team Captains reported the following summary numbers for the period 26 Sept - 01 Oct.
1 Blue Marlin
21 Striped Marlin
8 Pacific Sailfish
25 Dorado
13 Yellowfin Tuna
7 Wahoo
3 Skipjack
3 Bonita
2 Boats had no luck.
Hurricane/Tropical Storm Otis prompted the closing of our port on Friday Sept 30th and Saturday 01 October and as of this writing on Sunday 02 October
as well.
Prior to the storm we had exciting action for many of our guests.
An important note we want to pass along: Our returning clients fishing this period know the importance of booking early to ensure their preference.
Many have already confirmed for October 2006 aware that much of the month of October every year is unavailable for regular charter due to tournament
charters. We pass on this information as we know what its like to want to fish on a particular boat ... with a particular crew ... Our policy that
has set new standards here in Cabo San Lucas is "First deposit received inks and confirms a reservation, thereby removing a boat from the calendar of
availability."
Muy bueno amigos Gary and Phyllis May of Acworth, Georgia returned to fish with us aboard our flagship "CABO MAGIC" Each year Gary and Phyllis
thrill us with their visit and bring with them special guests to share their passion for Cabo San Lucas. This year, one of Garys younger brothers,
Kevin and his wife Patricia were their guests. The hope was to catch lots of eating fish to bring back as many of their extended family - children
and grandchildren - were affected by Rita's wrath, and are now residents with Gary and Phyllis. They enjoyed 3 days of fishing and catching ~ They
had great billfish action and released 3 Striped Marlin estimated at 170-180# each, and boated a total of 3 Dorado, 3 Wahoo, 1 Yellowfin Tuna, 1
Skipjack and 1 Bonita. Alot of good meals to come at the May household and we hope for their families to overcome the effects of the storm with grace
and speed.
Another buen amigo y cliente estimado, Rory Gehman of Glen Burnie, Maryland returned with clients and had an outstanding 3 days with us! Releasing 3
Striped Marlin and boating3 Dorado, 1 Wahoo and 1 Yellowfin Tuna. Great to have you aboard Rory - we appreciate your good business. This trip Rory
fished aboard "CABO MAGIC" and "ADRENALINE".
New amigo Dr Daniel Benko of Highland, Indiana fulfilled a dream with his Blue Marlin catch aboard our 31' Bertram "CABO MAGIC Dos".
Returning amigos The Scott Sperling Group - Scott, Daniel and Lacy - of Granada Hills, California, had two great days aboard "CABO MAGIC Dos"
successfully releasing 1 Striped Marlin and much to the delight of the group, boated 5 Dorado and 3 Wahoo - YAHOO! Nice to welcome you aboard again

New amigos The Wayne Hughes Group of Moreno Valley, California fished two days with us as well. One day they had no suerte ("Suerte" is spanish for
luck) and the second day they released 1 Striped Marlin and boated 1 Dorado ~ Good for you!
Amigos all Richard Wall, Miguel Barrios, Joe Zander, Dale Lucas, Robb Damon of Houston, Texas successfully released 1 Pacific Sailfish and boated 3
Yellowfin Tuna. Congratulations!
New Amigo David Muir of Plano, Texas and friends fished with us aboard "CABO MAGIC Dos" and released 1 Pacific Sailfish. Another got tailwrapped in
the sport ... Thanks for choosing to fish with us Amigo!
Reporting the CR&R (Catch-Revive & Release) of 1 Striped Marlin + 2 Dorado fishing with us new amigos Tom Moore, Jack Moore, Larry Burris of
San Juan Capistrano, California - Larry Burris caught a dorado! Congratulations Larry way to go!
