Real alien lights near Catavina?

Sharksbaja - 10-3-2005 at 10:57 PM

We saw them. Something very strange indeed! Somewhere in the area of Catavina. A brilliant light from above the lava boulders . It seemed like it was close but it was near the mountain pulsing white with blue hues.

Don't confuse this with the mysterious lights that glow in the distant desert, I have seen those also.
Although it was years ago I remember before the road was carved an eerie glow of green that emanated from a valley somewhere in Baja .
We thought it must be a town but there is nothing out there. What the hell were we seeing? Illuminated dust? Phosphorenscent or luminious particles aloft in the wind? Aliens visiting? Anyone else seen em?:?::?::?: :O:O:O

hummm

I can't wait to see this:lol:

David K - 10-4-2005 at 07:28 AM

Very likely the Northern Lights with the increased solar activity this year... I saw them while camping on Shell Island about 1981... The sky looked like it was on fire...!

Otherwise, it was the Mother Ship.... Perhaps what inspired this work by the natives, near there:

David, did you get that picture out of National Geographic?

That would be the Chi Chi rapids.

jide - 10-4-2005 at 09:54 AM

That sound a lot like what Gabriela at Krutsio described to me, their hypothesis was secret tests from the military... who knows?

Did you take any pictures?

Dave, don't you look at EVERY page in my web site??? LOL!!

That photo and several more were taken by my daughter Sarah at the painted cave a couple miles north of Catavina...

See all of them (plus GPS) at http://vivabaja.com/703 (on the last two pages of that web site).

Here is another showing a comet, meteor, or spaceship:

Sharksbaja - 10-4-2005 at 01:07 PM

spaceship yep, I knew it! Hey David, over on your Las Pintas post you show some awesome fossil rocks. Is that material very hard and petrified like the wood found down there? I found some really cool large petrified scallops one time. How far above sea-level were those found, thanx.

David K - 10-4-2005 at 01:17 PM

Hi Sharks, from my post on the Trip Reports forum:

Mile 24.6 LAS PINTAS parking area. Take trail to the right leading up to the top, then work over to the other side and come back down... then go straight in and enjoy the crawlways in the shade. GPS is 29-53.90', 115-24.48', elev. 755'.

So, 755 feet ASL, and a long ways from the ocean in 2005 (about 15 straight miles)!

Sharksbaja - 10-4-2005 at 01:57 PM

Wow, thanks. Was the embedded rock real hard and dense?

Spaceships ???

jrbaja - 10-4-2005 at 01:59 PM

If that picture of Davids isn't of a Caracol, hooked up to an ancient milking machine, I don't know what is!

Sharksbaja - 10-4-2005 at 02:02 PM

Yes, but where did the machine come from....huh? Explain that!

bajaden - 10-4-2005 at 04:16 PM

Lets see if I can make sense of this. First, Jr. returns. He brings with him a hurricane. Now space ships. My first impulse is to blame Jr, but after serious thought, which by the way makes me a walking oxymarooon, I've decided its global warming. Brought on by the use of too many ancient milking machines of course.

At a feast of ego's, everyone goes home hungry.

Osprey - 10-5-2005 at 09:49 AM

Not a milking machine at all. It extracts blood from Chubacabras. They are very hard to capture (like my bird) because they are invisible.

Sharks
These guys are all over the place here in Baja. They are shy and don't come to town very often. Possibly they are from Canada.
Any way here are some video captures of some UFO footage made by Martin Romo of Rice & Beans. Sorry about the poor quality they are taken from Hi-8 film and captured to an ATI All-in-Wonder video card.
I don't remember exactly what year this was shot something like 99 or 2000. He is looking south west back to the Sierra Tinajas south of the military check at Three Poles. He wasn't alone several others were stopped as well and all saw the lights, there were three of them maybe four of these UFO's. A couple of weeks later he saw and filmed the same type of craft in Mexicalli. The zoom in between shot 2 and 3 is done by the camera. No color correction or other enhancements have been made.

burro bob - 10-5-2005 at 12:22 PM

UFO 2

burro bob - 10-5-2005 at 12:22 PM

UFO 3

Sharksbaja - 10-5-2005 at 12:29 PM

Whoa! Looky at that energy signature. It appears that the craft is above an energy field that imitates the shape of a traditional UFO from a distance. Mexico is a hotbed for strange lights and objects . Thsnks for the show! YIKES!

comitan - 10-5-2005 at 01:19 PM

You guys have a great imagination, it just looks like a hole in the clouds with the suns rays,:yes::yes:

burro bob - 10-5-2005 at 01:31 PM

Comitan
Possibly except
1. The light is below the horizon in the first picture.
2. The video was shot in the morning. The sun was behind him.
3. When light shines through a hole in the clouds it doesn't leave behind black bars that change positions.

Sharksbaja - 10-5-2005 at 01:32 PM

What clouds? Cmon man, surely you don"t dismiss the notion? Don't be scared we come in peace.

Sharksbaja - 10-5-2005 at 01:33 PM

comitan - 10-5-2005 at 01:42 PM

Sharksbaja - 10-5-2005 at 01:46 PM

David K - 10-5-2005 at 03:27 PM

Why are UFO photos always out of focus???

Because they are moving?
