There is a guy who lives in La Playa who builds boats and floats them. This is an example of one of his creations. I hope that there is enough
detail to see what each part is. You will be surprised if you look closely.
The sad thing is, since the marina has come in, he has no place to float his boats as there is a big fence around all the water. I have not seen one
of his boats since the construction started.
His name is Jose Arturo and whatever color his boats were that month so would be his bicycle. I really miss seeing him out in the water making sure
that each boat would actually float. I have some more photos if anyone is interested. I think that he is a true artist who has lost his palette.

Do post more pictures. I think he has a sense of humor from looking at this one creation.

I don't see a sense of humor, its just a tuna boat.

I see a certain amount of whimsicality there, unless my neurons are sputtering again.

I think the boat is way cool, Judy, and would love to see more.

Any thing that makes a dent in the obscene amount of garbage in Baja is a good thing. Thanks for the photo
The guys got a good eye and it beats the heck out of what alot of people north of the border would call art

Judy please, post more pictures. Does he just make them for his own pleasure, or does he sell them? I would be interested. Hey, maybe you could add
them to your web-site.
Gatta go. I have to sweep up a bunch of neurons I found on the floor.

Den, love your avatar.
I seem to have misplaced my neurons as well. I cannot for the life of me find the rest of the pix of this guys boats. He does not sell them. He has
a yard full of them. After he makes sure they are seaworthy he takes them home. His yard furniture also changes colors regularly with the paint de
jour for the boats.
Here is one we found 10 miles up the east cape after a hurricane.
Will continue to search for the other photos....darn darn doo doo.

Thanks for the effort Judy. I'll just have to come down and see the boats. Have a safe trip.
