10 Boats had no suerte
The first date of this reporting period, Sunday the 2nd of October, the port remained closed which understandably disappointed many guests who were
scheduled to fish, most especially for those unable to reschedule their fishing due to travel schedules.
Considering the recent storms in the Gulf region of Louisiana and Mississippi, the Port Captains decision was an abundance of caution for the safety
of visitors.
This weeks period includes results for Monday thru & including Saturday. Some fish caught this week would likely take money in some of the
upcoming tournaments ~ ~ ~ The good news is that big fish are showing up. For example, aboard 46' Bertram STIMULATOR, with Owner/Capt Jay Bush at
the helm a 340# Yellowfin Tuna was caughtt on Thursday the 6th. This same date, one of our new Team Boats also boated a respectable 100# Yellowfin
Tuna. We all do our superstitous good luck fish dances and hope this is indicative of what we will continue to see.
We were reminded this week by bueno amigo Mel Greenberg of Los Angeles that each of our crews has something unique in its technique and approach to
fishing in our waters. Thanks Mel. Our kindest regards to amiga Diana and thanks for the lovely gift.
Some other highlights of this period:
Happy to welcome back the Holder Family of Amigos from Allen Park Illinois. Every year they fish three days with us and this year their totals are 3
Dorado 1 Wahoo and the release of 1 Striped Marlin. Fish to enjoy here and fish to take back home to share with their friends and loved ones!
Nuevo amigos Craig Ladyman & Dane Sexton of Oak Park, Illinois released a Striped Marlin in their day of fishing with us. Nice going!
Amigos Terry & Stephanie Black travelled from Denver, Colorado and boated one dorado which Stephanie says was very exciting!
New Amigos Phil Wagner, John Fleming, John Nelson from Gainesville, Florida and boated one dorado in two days of fishing with us. We hope next time
you visit results are better ... we do thank you for choosing Cabo Magic Sportfishing.
New amigos the Tony Gonzon Group from Newark, Delaware fished three days with us with these results: 2 Striped Marlin released and a total of 10
Dorado boated. Congratulations to all of you!
First time visitors from Minturn, Colorado new amigos Paddy and Tanya Willey caught 2 Dorado and released a Striped Marlin fishing mid week with us
aboard CABO MAGIC Dos.
Getting far from the cold of Minot, North Dakota nuevo amigo Jesse Winchester and friends fished with us and had a fine day with the catch of a
Yellowfin Tuna.
Amigo Mel Greenberg returned for a quick midweek getaway and fished one day with us, while lovely wife "Diana spent the day being pampered at the spa"
and released a Striped Marlin. Mel says he cant get enough of sportfishing with us. He has fished with us aboard every one of our team boats and
appreciates the talents of each crew.
Amigo Eric Burns from Merced, California returned and fished on a panga with friends and boated 3 Dorado. Eric says they had their fish prepared one
night at SPENCERS at the Mar de Cortez Hotel. "Great as usual". The rest was frozen and will be prepared back home for the wives and children of all
the anglers to enjoy too.
New Amigos Wes Hair and Kim Wright visiting from McKinney, Texas fished aboard CABO MAGIC Dos and caught 1 Dorado. We all wanted Kim to catch her
first marlin .. lets try again!
Finishing this weeks period aboard CABO MAGIC, new amigos and honeymooners Brock & Shari Hansen of Altamonte Springs, Florida caught 8 Yellowfin
Tuna. From all of us at CMSF we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.

I know that the Bisbee people must be happy that the big boys are showing up again.
"Any fish will bite if you've got good bait" Used to have a t-shirt that said that....guess it wasnt really about fishing, was it!
