Was in San Carlos yesterday and someone mentioned to my wife that there is a Ferry (the boat kind) that goes from Guaymas to La Paz.
Anybody know for sure & how can I check it out?

it only hit's Baja in Santa Rosalia right now. But, the one constant with the ferries is, they are constantly changing schedules, prices, and owners.

Ferry from Guaymas to Sta. Rosalia...watch the wind predictions.
Baja-Barf ferry is more like it. Tis a mite smelly voyage if rough.
Hint: Stay out of the main salon if seas are over 3 feet.

La Paz to Topolobambo is the only ferry they run (except to Mazatlan) from La Paz. La Paz to Guymas would be quite a trip; easier to go to Topo and
drive north from there.

La Paz-Guaymas was long ago cancelled... along with Cabo San Lucas-Puerto Vallarta... They built a ferry landing at Puerto Escondido in 1972/73 for a
run to Topolobampo, but it was never initiated.

I agree with Anon, if you want a peacful crossing without the sounds of those hurling around you spend the x-tra pesos for a cabin. They have their
own clean private bathrooms and did not use to cost that much more. Enjoy the trip.
