La Playita Bait & Surf

We head down to San jose del Cabo Friday 10/21.

We're booked for five days fishing.

Any recent intel on the bait situation?

We're most interested in Sardinas, though a side of Macks or Cabillitos would be a bonus.

We'll be doin' some surf fishing too- any Snook stories? Roosters?

I think we're too early for beach Sierra...

I'll post our report about Halloween-time.

All the boats were out today. Lotsa bait boats around but I dont know what they are after. I heard that the snook were running as the estuary broke through.
Will ask around and report back to you.

Who do you fish with here?

OK
Just got off the phone with a bud who knows what is happening.
Not many sardinas right now. The boats are going south to Cerra Colorado and Punta Ballena because it has been too windy to head north. They are catching................WAHOO. One boat with 2 today. Also small tunas. He said that the snook bite was over.
Happy fishing

Judy, we fish with Nico and Chame of Eric's Gordo Banks Pangas.

Sounds like the Northerlies are starting up?

We're a couple of weeks late this year, we usually are in SJD around Columbus Day.

Are "they" making any progress on the new breakwater?

Those Robalo will be on the bait schools...

Yes the windsurfer in Los Barriles are very happy!

"They" are out about 200 meters with the first breakwater. On the leaward side the erosion is significant. If they keep this up they wont have to break through, mother nature will do it for them.

Hope you catch lotsa fish! Eric has some great captains.
