One more week and we are there!, if the weather permits! Taking a couple boats from San Carlos on the Mainland across to Conception/Mulege. Should be a real adventure!

Vert few tourist actually do this.

that is a nice trip jz I have made it many times. I like to go in the night with no moon. you can see all the lights for navigation and the stars are beautiful and the water is like glass.

Sorry for the confusion Bob/Susan, we are driving both boats across. Probably going to anchor in Conception (Coyote Bay).

I've gone straight across twice before, but the last trip was about 2 years ago (wow, time flies).

Bruce, we are planning to leave at day break so we can run at speed. If we get some good weather we should make it across in around 3 hours or so.

Maybe we'll catch you on the other side!

Where are you leaving the trailers?

Take pictures and prices????

Still will be a great adventure...:P

JZ - 10-21-2005 at 10:20 AM

San Carlos is the home base for both of us. We have houses there and keep the boats year round at the marina.

Definitely will take pictures!

Pompano, thanks for the warning! My boat is 31' and runs 60mph. Is that enough to get away!:O

We did San Carlos to Loreto and back once. Awesome trip!

You guys with your little boats and your large wallets have always made me Jealous.......................not because of what you own or the money you have BUT for your ability to see things in Baja that us average folks with four wheels seldom get a chance to see. Wish you'll would be so kind to post some of your stories about those sights so that we can live vicariously and see those parts of Baja that we are not allowed to cast our eyes upon.
Por Favor!!!!!
