Anonymous posts are flagged as such. If they are troubling to you, I suggest you refrain from reading them. Like complaining about TV fare; there is
an OFF button.comitan - 10-24-2005 at 11:43 AM
We have had polls on this before, Doug makes his own decisions on this hasn't seemed to take our views into consideration.losfrailes - 10-24-2005 at 11:45 PM
Interesting watching the voting. Obviously the only posters in favor of anonymous posting art posting anonymously.
Have we found the source of 'F-K YOU' and other posts in this manner.
I hope that Doug Means makes it necessary to identify yourself when you post.
Most of us, no not most of us, all of us have already said "I am me, here is who I am, if I ask as question, or make a statement, I am not afraid of
EVERYONE knowing who I am'.Spyderman - 10-25-2005 at 06:06 AM
I see no reason for allowing anonymous posts.Bruce R Leech - 10-25-2005 at 06:12 AM
I don't make posts anymore because anon just tears them up. I only answer questions and try to help when some one asks about something that I know
about.Corky1 - 10-25-2005 at 07:21 AM
I HAVE ALREADY ANSWERED THIS QUESTION!!!!
"......in need of liberal use of private messaging, this is certainly the one. "
I agree, more PM's , less confrontation on the board.
Also, don't let Anon's post messages.
Yes I am a retarded COP.
The other "Corky"

Hey Bruce, you don't have to feel like the Lone Ranger here, that is exactly the way I feel, and I am sure we are not alone.Baja Bernie - 10-25-2005 at 09:31 AM
I find it interesting because only a few of us use names that identify ourselves to others when we post . I use Baja Bernie because that is who I am
and by now most (but not all) of the posters here know who I am.
I don't like the anons but then anyone can post using a 'phony' name and get away with attacks for some time before someone tumbles to the fact.
Like I said, I don't like the problems that anons and phony's pose BUT it is Doug's board and until we start paying the freight we really have no say.rpleger - 10-25-2005 at 10:05 AM
?Whats the big deal?
Register, then you have the right to post.bajaden - 10-25-2005 at 06:23 PM
I've already let my feelings known. No on Anon's. However, they don't bother me. To me, the person with no name doesn't exist. Its sort of like what
Teddy R said. To never know the pain of failure or the glory of sucess. NO name, NO credit.woody with a view - 10-25-2005 at 06:36 PM
i like den's attitude, and his shades.
however, being able to post anon still gives the punk his platform. if, said punk has the time and the life, he can come up with a new "handle"
everyday. or is there an "IP logging" feature that will prevent these creatures from posting from their primary caves? Doug?Spyderman - 10-26-2005 at 05:07 AM
Only 25 have taken the poll, probably cause it doesn't really mean anything.bajaden - 10-26-2005 at 12:48 PM
I wonder why we haven't heard from Doug on this. Maybe we have and I just missed it.losfrailes - 10-26-2005 at 01:02 PM
Probably because of the apathy of the viewers. Last count 547 views, fewer than 30 votes.
And I rather imagine he has already expressed his views on the subject in the past. I believe someone mentioned that earlier.
