Skipjack...You certainly could say the same about Cabo but I'd take Loreto any day of the week now.

wilderone - 11-15-2005 at 09:43 AM

Cinco - that's because you don't know any better.

Cincodemayo - 11-15-2005 at 10:27 AM

The neighborhood be growin just like the prices...ching ching.

wilderone - 11-15-2005 at 05:58 PM

The ching-ching you hear is money flowing out of your pocket.
The prices are artificially based on comparable properties in So. California - which are dropping in price.
I have absof___kinglutely no desire to own something so un-Baja-like and overpriced, when I can enjoy the real Baja for no cost.
I see an awful lot of non-native flora species in those pics. Is this supposed to be in compliance with the "more biodiversity" promise?
Oh - I guess it's supposed to represent an authentic mexican spanish colonial village, with European walking paths, Guatamalan cupolas and Anasazi architectural influences. Now I read about the canal - gee, just like Venice. gag me.

Wilderone...
Same thing happened in Cabo and look what property down there goes for. You can go round and round and if Loreto Bay isn't for you so be it but that is YOUR opinion and obviously many other people like it as the Founder's Neighborhood is sold out and Phase 2 is already going gangbusters. That translates into $$ for the town of Loreto...you can continue to be negative about it but it's happening and will continue to happen.

wilderone - 11-16-2005 at 11:21 AM

"Same thing happened in Cabo and look what property down there goes for."

YEs - I agree that mankind can take earth's precious natural resources, destroy them, and make money - isn't that what life's all about?

Cincodemayo - 11-16-2005 at 12:11 PM

Sadly yes that's what happens. Fonatur already had the infrastructure in Loreto Bay....it was frozen in time for a short while....now once again the wheels are turning and it was time to hop on board before we were left behind. It's called progress and sadly it happens everywhere. Just look at Orangeless County in So Cal.
