Has anyone used GNP for Mexican Insurance?

This site makes comparisons on 7 Mexican Auto/RV/Boat insurance companies and GNP always comes up with the best price.

Blackie

From my talking to a GNP agent in the past, he told me its one of the oldest, and best but it had higher premiums than most so never went with them. Maybe they have gotten more competitive. I use Qualitas they seem to be the Lowest in La Paz, and I know they pay when you have a claim. I had a claim with Comercial America(ING) they gave me the run around paid about half. Footnote to this is because Comercial America wouldn't send someone to bail me out on a weekend is why I ended up in the pokey.

Blackie,

My experience with Qualitas is identical to that of Comitan. Good agents, quick service and no arguments about paying.

We have GNP for everything....health and 4 vehicles.
Although we have never had to use the health, the vehicle ins. is great. Terrific road service(we have been towed 4 times). We have never had an accident.
If you have all of your insurance with them, you get discounts. On our Jeep that just came up for renewal, we got %5 off for each year without an accident and %5 off for having our health with them. 15% off made their premium the lowest.
Our agent here changed one of our ins policy's from Qualitos because they had been having problems with claims. This was our truck that still has Ca. plates which now has GNP too.

Thanks all, and especially Baja Judy. GNP is one of the only Insurers that will insure a Motorhome or RV with stated deductible and not a percentage of deductible, hence my interest and question.

I have decided to go with a US company that specializes in RV insurance. They cover all personal and vehicle loss in Mexico as part of the policy. I will obtain an annual "any vehicle in Mexico" liability policy as well via GNP.

The company info is as follows:

Andrew Callihoo
RV Insurance Professionals
1-877-RVINSURE (784-6787)
www.rvinsurancepro.com

They saved $700 annualy off my USAA policy for the RV.

I've used GNP for the last few years, and have nothing bad to say about them. Their prices are competive and their service is excellent.

Is there a GNP agent in Cabo or just La Paz. How about a phone number?

Blackie - ? did you shop Lewis and Lewis? so far i am good with them.

Folks, I went with a US carrier that included MX coverage and then added an annual DL policy for P&L.

Saved a ton and didnlt use GEICO.

The monsterhome was still a bit of work to drive on Highway 5 but a lot, lot better than my old Class A.

Thanks for asking.
