Now that I've lost my Newbie status, acquired a dancing dolphin and have seen some of the cool usernames on here, I think its time to adopt a better
username. Problem is, I can't figure out how to do it. i.e., change the user name you signed up with. Any help out there?

Ask Doug, really nicely. 
I had to change mine early on as it was too similar to another user and I did not want to create confusion.
