el nuevo sabor de siempre (the new flavor of always) is their motto and it fits.
it's traditional "mexican food" as it has been transported to the states made with freshest ingredients one dish at a time. no fast food atmosphere
or flavor. all chicken dishes made with grilled (not boiled) chicken. my husband loves their beef burritos and i am partial to their chicken
enchiladas. also good sopes, huaraches, tostadas, chiles rellenos, etc. excellent salsa.
it's a tiny place with just 6 tables (each seating 3). located at av. alvarado 143 in the zona centro just half block east of lopez mateos (calle
primera).
most dishes cost 35-60 pesos. they occasionally have gorgeous gelatin desserts in the shapes of tropical flowers.
