I have purchased our tourist permits from Vagabundos. Do we have to stop at the border as we typically do which is kind of a pain at 4:00am in the
morning walking through the alley to get to the little building to have them signed with two kids in tow. Could we get them signed at Guerrero at the
stop there (where they spray the vehicle)?

If you get there before 4PM M-F....
They are closed all the time when we go by...
The easiest place is TJ..24 hrs

you have to get them stamped at a bank and pay the fee (+/- 200 pesos) before they will let you continue north at G. N. (IF the guy is there when you
come through).
tj is easiest. BTW, i think you can leave the kids and an adult in the vehicle and send the other adult with all the paperwork down the alley to get
stamped, then go wake up the guy at the bank window there at the border.

the permits from vagabundos are prepaid just need to get them stamped at any immigration hava a good one jerry

They are paid for but the days are not marked....
Guerrero MAY give you 180 days and MAY not....
It only open till 4 or 4:30 PM M-F
Santa Rosalia WILL NOT give you 180 days....

No more alley office... The TJ INM office is once again facing the covered, secondary parking... easy! The bank teller is just a couple doors away if
you need to pay, as well...

You just drive in where it says, "Vehicle to Declare" on the far right side of the border entrance. Park there, and visit the office that says,
"Migracion."

Go to the Migra in Ensenada next time. Easy to get in and out. The new remodel has a Banco inside and now it's one stop shopping.
I have paid the fee in Sta. Rosalia and only once out of many trips was I asked at G. Negro. Probably cause I always exit on a Sunday

Thanks for all the great info.... Our tourist permits are prepaid. Last year we have had to wake the guy up at the bank at the border .... and walk
to the alley twice so thought pre-paid would be the way to go. If no alley we will diffently stop at TJ in the morning.... I didnt think about it but
I guess I could send my husband with all our passports & pre-paid tourist permits and see if he could get them signed then I wouldnt have to carry
our two year old & our 10 year old will enjoy not having to wake up. ONLY two weeks until Baja trip #6.... Very exciting & SO MUCH

It seems to change day to day, hour to hour at the TJ office. Last year my wife ran into the Migracion office next to the Banco and the offical
stamped both cards. This year we both had to run around back to the turnstiles at the border with our passports (1st time they wanted to see our
passports) to get the tourist card stamped. This was Dec 1, 05 at 7:30am.
