Any Todos Santos lodging for less than $100/night???

CasaManzana - 12-4-2005 at 08:33 AM

I've been looking on-line for Todos Santos hotels/motels and they all are a hundred bucks +/night. Maybe the less expensive places don't do internet stuff...anyone have a recommendation???

Nothing there worthwhile staying for, even at $ 20.00 a night.

POSADA DEL MOLINO

Barry A. - 12-4-2005 at 12:22 PM

We have stayed at "Posada del Molino" for several nights and we loved it. (see "BajaNomad" 's web site suggestion). It is $75 a night, for 2, and worth every penny. It is within walking distance of good restaurants, down town attractions like the art galleries, Hotel California, museums, and shops, and is a safe and secure place for you and your vehicle. It is also very quiet, and is "like new". One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We loved it.

Todos Santos is nor for everyone-----different than all other Baja towns, but we loved it, and really enjoyed our stay. It is an Art Colony, and some folks are turned off by that, apparently. We found it unique, and fasinating-----very much like "Old Mainland Mexico".

They only have 4 units, so be sure and book online to guarantee it's availability.

There are at least three very inexpensive places - Motel Guluarte - Santa Rosa Hotel and Hotel Miramar. Hotel Mision del Pilar is also inexpensive but I think it is closed pending a sale. None would likely have internet access. You can usually find something unless it is Christmas time. We get all the tourists we could possibly want so we don't need the "Vandenbergs" of the world!!

MANY THANKS TO ALL... we're outta here armed with this info
