Can someone tell me where to purchase them in the San Felipe area? Known sizes and rough prices (for new) would be worth some bonus points as well.
That'd help with pre-planning.
Thanks!

There is a vendor about a mile (or less) North of town on the left side of the highway (driving in). They have barrels and tanks of all sizes. It's
a rundown house with a big fenced yard to the North side. Hard to miss. Additionally, they usually have tanks out front. No idea on the price other
than the 500 Litro I bought from them. $115.00. Higher than Home Depot in Mexicali, but much closer. I've seen other dealers around town, but never
paid a lot of attention to where they were.

Thanks. I didn't even think of Home Depot. But I'm coming down from TJ and Ensenada, so that won't work this time... unless there's a Home Depot in
Tijuana?

The new lumber yard on thewest side of the highway as you come into San Felipe also stocks many sizes. I would reccomend you pay the small difference
and get the beige or tan colored tank,it is is heaver and is guarenteed longer and has anti bactaria coating and does not grow green moss like the
thinner ones. I bought a 1100 Liter one for $225 at the place MR Bill is talhing about and the black one was $200, came complete with ilters and
valves.

Thanks MrBill and mcgyver. I'll stop by Home Depot in TJ on the way down and check prices there. 1100 liter is just what I'm looking for. Would you
happen to have the rough dimensions of the 1100 liter unit you bought mcgyver?

I got my tanks from the same place as Mc Gyver. On the right side as you come into San Felipe. They are super cool. They even delivered all of the
stuff I bought to my house down just north of Puertecitos.
The place has a big chain link fence around it. You can see all of the tanks and construction material in it.
They where a little short on pipe fittings though.

The name of the place is Pro Construction. Think they probably have the best prices as far as I have heard.

Thanks everyone! That's where I'll go.
Size of tank

BajaDave, The 1100 Liter tank is 52" high with the last foot at the top tapered in, it is 40" in diameter. It is supposed to last 45 years ( if you
tie it down). My first one did not last a year, it was a thin white flimisy one and I did not tie it down. It got low on water just about the same
time as we had a Chubasco and its gone!
BTW I just bought the new Shuflow 5.7 GPM 12 volt water pump that is transistor controled and puts out 65 LBs PSI regardless of the number of fixtures
on and it is silent and makes my shower just like the city. As the man said I was so impressed have ordered 10 more to put on ebay and sell localy.
