I've always given Santa Rosalia a miss in heading further south for the winter. This trip I'd like to stay in the village center for a night and
explore favorite ex-pat bars etc., loading up on fresh bread for my neighbors at Playa Escondida the next day! Can anyone recommend some bars, and
perhaps a motel/hotel where a loaded SUV with kayak on top would be secure for the night?
Gracias,

A day late and a dollar short with this, but Las Casitas, about 1/2 mile south of the entrance to Santa Rosalia, being referred to here as Brendas, is
definitely the place to stay.
The restaurant right on the waterfront, across from the Pemex station, called 'Las Playas Negras' is the best of the restaurants in town.
'Ex-Pat Bars', whazzat? I believe there are some bars outside town on the west side, however, I cannot recommend any of them.
