We usually go in April but it looks like scheduling is not permitting us this year.
Can anyone tell me about the weather the beginning of May? We always liked going in April because it wasn't too hot, just really pleasant...always
seemed to be getting into some hotter temperatures just as we were leaving (except last year, unseasonably cool in April)!
Mostly concerned about the little stinging jellyfish in the water, is that common in May? We always seem to avoid them in April!
Many thanks for your feedback!

Weather is great, aguamalas (jelly fish) few, but the best part of 2006 is that May is full of celebration, specialy La Paz, no school or work for
the first part of the month;
May 1st Monday, Dia del Trabajo(labor day), May 3rd, Dia de la Fundacion de La Paz, May 5th Friday, Conmemoracion de la Batalla de Puebla, NOT
MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!(Cinco de Mayo), May 10th Dia de las Madres and May 15th, again on a Monday, Dia del Maestro (teachers day).
As we say in spanish, Mayo es el mes de los puentes.
