Anyone have an update on the condition of the dry lake road??? Wine tasteing Saturday in Guadalupe Valley. And Keri if you see this I'll be banging
on your door Saturday night. If any other Nomads are going to be at the Canyon Friday evening. Stop by El Mirador for a cold beer, or wine served at
palapa temp. White 4X4 Ford Super Cab.

I'll be at Guadalupe Thusday not Friday. The invite for evening refreshment still stands.

The dry lake is still dry. We just got back from another awesome weekend soaking in the tub under the stars and full moon. It looked like daylight
on Friday night.

I haven't been there for several years, so wasn't sure what to expect. From the pictures on the webb it looks like there have been a few

If you haven't been there for several years, be aware that there is now a Hwy 2 **OFFRAMP** leading to the dry lake road. You will see it as you are
traveling east towards Mexicali past the Guadalupe Canyon offramp/turnoff from Hwy 2. This turnoff to the dry lake is just opposite a billboard on
your left hand side (north side of Hwy2).
I saw some unfortunate people traveling in a Subaru AWD stationwagon and a Jetta wagon, and they did not look as if they were enjoying the bumpy road
that leads out of Guadalupe Canyon. In your SuperDuty pickup, you will not have any issues with ground clearance such as these people did.
I did notice several dogs wandering through our (Los Manantiales) camp the entire time our group was camped there. This was very irritating since I
believe dog owners should be responsible and keep their pets on leaches. Regardless, the water was very soothing.

The new sign for the dry lake road exit says 'LAGUNA SALADA' it is 2.6 miles EAST of the graded road exit, signed CA?ON de GUADALUPE... These both are
direct exits for EAST BOUND traffic. WEST BOUND must go PAST the actual junction to a U TURN break in the divided highway to get on the EAST BOUND
side.
