if I remember right the visa offive is not the place...
it's another department
there is a building just away from the border that does the boat stuff.
It's not supossed to be a very safe area...

take san ysidro exit(805) and turn right, go under the 5 overpass(left) and you will see a yellow building on your right just past the stop light.
there you can get your boat permit and fishing license if you need one. good luck

Fandango. If your presently anywhere near Rio Vista (Bay area) stop by Vagabundo del Mar travel club. That is where I purchased my boat permit &
fishing license for years, and didn't have to deal with the "rig a ma role" of getting it at the border. Membership fee is $35.00 a year. And one of
the "bargains" of club membership. If you had more time, you could do it over the phone, give them your credit card number & renew forever, and
they will mail your papers to you. Unless something has changed, you can get your visitors pass from them also. (though we are on FM3 status now)
