Motels on the Ruta del Vino are non-existent. There's the Adobe Guadalupe in Francisco Zarco - exclusive, pricey and they don't alow pets. You'd be
better off in Ensenada. As for restaurants - don't pass up Laja, just before Francisco Zarco, you can't miss it. It's on the spendy side but worth
every cent (see the forum on Restaurant Reviews). For a more modestly priced meal try Mustafa, also on the Ruta del Vino just east of San Antonio de
las Minas (on the left side). They serve Mexican and Middle Eastern type foods. We recommend the lamb. Another great place in San Antonio de las
Minas is Leonardo's. Right in town on the right hand side. Excellent Mexican food and very reasonable.

If you make the drive into El Centro, here's a great place to stay that is located just across the border from the Laguna Salada region (you can see
it from the I-8 onramp).

There is not much until Tecate or Mexicali. You can make it into El Centro or Yuma but its a long day. Best for us has always been to spend the
night in El Rosario and then the next day will put you at least into Tucson if not further. see you this summer.

Hi Ralph
May be staying here..but will hit Baja Cactus if we go..
Have a possible sale pending on beach lot. People have seen the property a number of times, fell in love with it, not suprised!
Possibly close on it the next couple weeks, or in June....
At any rate, will do some fishin g in the summer..Lots of corvina on the beach...moving into the estero so they can be decimated by the gill nets come
March:moon:....wadda shame!
