I am looking for an East Cape place to kayak/panga fish... I will spend a week in March at Leonero and in April a week at Ranch Colorado(two
recommeded sites)... comments on this board suggested they may be high-priced.. I am not rich(usually the cheaper the better for me).... I live in
Idaho and hate winters.. will be traveling to Baja monthly and looking around for a comfortable site...
Any recommendations for clean/affordable/all most old baja would be appreciated......... any homestays w/families....Frank - 2-17-2006 at 12:45 PM

Do you think Verdugos would have a space March,April without a reservation?bajajudy - 2-17-2006 at 02:23 PM
Dont you already know what RL will cost?
It is much quieter than Verdugos although I love Verdugos too.
The beach is less crowded. It is a very different atmosphere.
As I have said you will have a great time....pascuale - 2-17-2006 at 10:09 PM
We stay at the houses right next to Rancho leonero. I have stayed at Casa kristara 2 times and wont go back to Palmas de cortez or anywhere else on
the east cape. The house sleeps 10 and you can rent the front or guest house or both. There is also a zodiac and a center console there, private
walkway to the water and its 1/4 mile to Rancho leonero. Its better than paying 180 bucks a night for a small room. we go to costco when we get off
the plane and then cook our own in the gourmet kitchen. Cool place. heres a link.
