Does anyone know the tide schedule for Puertocitos? It's best to go to the hot springs a little after high tide, right?

1. Follow this link. 2. Type anything in boxes #1 and #2, select Turismo and click on Bajar Programa. 3. Save the zipped file download and you can then open it whenever you want. It is in spanish but fairly easy to navigate around. This program does not have Puertecitos but it does have Bahia de los Angeles and San Felipe - I'm guessing about half-way between those two values.

Oops: First select "Servicios" and then "Predicciones de marea" and then "Mar V0.70 Nuevo" at the bottom of the page - then follow from #2 above.

They always charge me $1 per person to visit the tidepools. It is certainly worth it, and I understand the local's concerns regarding security in the area. However, is it legal to do so if the tidepools are in the Federal Zone?

I think the only option is to go to the springs by boat, then you don't touch the Orozco land!:O:smug:

Good link Juan! BIG tides at the end of the month with the new moon!
