O.k. so for all of us that are soon moving to Baja sur and can't live with less than 100 chanels and seinfeld re-runs, why don't all Baja residents
that have satellite TV tell us what they use, where they live, how many channels they get, pros and cons, how much you pay, and where can we get it?
I am sure plenty of people want to know.

Has anybody recently come across any working Pirate Receivers ? My Mexican dealer had given up the last time I talked to him. I miss all of those
added choices.

I use the Mexican SKY satellite service I get about 160 channels mostly US and lots of music. you can rent newer movies right from your control and
now they even have a tivo like service.
and it is legal

tell us what they use: Dish Network. DirecTV no longer broadcasts half its channels here.
where they live: Todos Santos, BCS
how many channels they get: 200 +
pros and cons: Expensive to get desired channels w/o paying for stuff you don't want, no PPV (until I get DSL/vonage hooked up), have to play
residency games to get local channels, needs a dish larger than the DTV 1 meter.
how much you pay: North of $80 per mo.
and where can we get it? Here, and from others on the Boards.
