SAN DIEGO -- Wildlife biologists are scratching their heads over a widespread die-off that is leaving hundreds of sea birds dead on the Pacific Ocean
beaches.
Officials don't know why the northern fulmars, a seagull-type bird, are being found dead on the coastline stretching from Oregon to the northern tip
of Baja California.
Biologists in Mexico found more than 500 of the dead birds this week along a three-quarter mile stretch of beach just south of Ensenada. In San Diego,
officials have found about twelve to 15 dead birds per mile along the beach.
Northern fulmars don't usually come ashore, except to breed and rest on rocky cliffs. Adults can grow to 18 inches long with wingspans of nearly 4
feet.

It has been reported that the cause of all the birds dying has been traced back to the Central Valley Farmer who drain their waste water into
ditches whereby Migrant Birds pick up the water and transport to the beaches and give it to the dyng Birds.Scientist Say, Stats show,A study show that

I pulled two of them out of the surf last week. They were getting pounded by the waves so I rescued them and put them under our shipwreck. They stayed
for about a half hour and headed back into the surf. ??? And who am I to argue with Mother Nature ?
