Guadalupe restaurants

thebajarunner - 11-11-2003 at 10:10 AM

To follow up on previous discussions... my kids went to Guadalupe this weekend. They had breakfast at a restaurant in Las Minas called "Corre Caminos"
They said the food was excellent and the prices were reasonable.
They did not comment on the fire damage but did say that Laja is still open and doing fine, it was just a bit pricey for them. Also, they are encouraging us to spend a couple days at "Adobe Guadalupe" the bed and breakfast in the town. Apparently it is just wonderful, one of my extended family girls was married there several years ago.

Hey, this is post #100!! Do I get a star, a new badge (don't need no stinkin' badges) or what??

Here's to many more posts.

Adobe Guadelupe is owned by an American who has a winery there. It is a nice place. I have met him and he normally is very responsive to e-mail.

Bajarunner,
What's with the don't need no stinking badge? Took mine off 20 years ago and really have not had a need for it since. But it is nice and shiny and my daughters each want it when I'm gone. Worked out well because I kept my real one #13 and got a retired one. They drew straws to see who got the real gold one and who got the plastic one. No, never had to use it in Baja!
