I have read all of Mike's books and I know he was one of the first to harvest goodies at Malarrimo BUT I just stumbled on to the fact that,
apparently, the Mexicans named a place in Baja for this great explorer of Baja. More information out there?

It is the lagoon at Malarrimo Beach. A beautiful place with birds, fish, and quick sand.
If when you arrive there , you walk to your right (facing the water)....must be 1 milemaybe a little more, you will see a cut in the shore and the
lagoon is right behind that.

Bernie,
Read Graham Mackintosh's first book when he got a boat ride across Scammon's only to come to Laguna McMahan a short walk beyond... and how he crossed
it!
If you still can contact Chuck Potter, he will have the best data on how that 'new' lagoon was created and named after his father-in-law.
