I came across this photo and thought it was interesting.

Oh my God!
Good thing there was a shoulder there... many places it just drops off at the blacktop edge.Pompano - 4-5-2006 at 07:21 AM
Another instant beachhouse enroute to BOLA or Loreto, perhaps? Nice find, Cardon. Looks pretty normal for the Baja Road.Don Alley - 4-5-2006 at 07:27 AM

It and its other half are now on the beach just north of Loreto, at some place they call "Mil Palmas" or something like that. Or one just like it.
Charming.
Now I know why, when they diverted the road to keep people away from the beach, they bulldozed it so wide.bufeo - 4-5-2006 at 07:55 AM
Wow, that doesn't leave much room for error.
Although there are some parts of the photo that make me think that it wasn't taken in Baja, it is certainly similar to some of the traffic situations
we've witnessed there. Yikes!bajajudy - 4-5-2006 at 08:15 AM

Met that sucker, or one like it on my way north. The guy was a roadhog and fortunately there was room on the shoulder. Gawd, I hope this isn't a
trend. I hate mobile homes, lived in a single wide for a few.
They did have a lead car with it's 4 way going. But that usually means cop or accident ahead. Or, it could be some idiot driving around with his
flashers on. In Baja you just never know. Err on the side of caution!
