We are thinking of driving back down on Easter Sunday. Gotta get back to our little casa. Anyone have experience bad or good or knowledge of traffic
conditions on Easter? Is the beer drinking partying on the beach etc done by then, or can we expect every family in Mexico to load up in the station
wagon and careen down the highway in an altered state of consciousness? Thanks all.bajajudy - 4-14-2006 at 09:13 AM
Hola El Jefe
I would expect every family who could make to another location for Easter to be on the road. If I remember correctly Sunday is a full day on the
beach then pack up and go home. Personally I would wait until Monday to head too far south.
The beaches here are starting to fill up. It seems that most are headed further up the East Cape this year trying to escape the security guards for
Puertoloscabos.
Have a safe trip back!bajalou - 4-14-2006 at 09:31 AM
Wait a couple days - the "going home north" traffic will be 2 abreast on 2 lane roads. Not worth the danger and agrivation - relax up North and come
down Tue - should be a nice ride by then.Bruce R Leech - 4-14-2006 at 09:42 AM

You could try a plastic 'Virgen de Guadalupe' on the dashboard. Better still, as a hood ornament. Prayer is good, too. (Preferably in Spanish.)Oso - 4-14-2006 at 07:58 PM

At least 2 of my employees are in El Golfo this week. A lot of Mexicans just aren't into solitude. For them, the beach, the water, are secondary to
the people. They are there BECAUSE it's crowded. For them, the crowd IS the attraction. I don't understand it. Maybe if it was all bikini clad
young women...
"Cada cabeza un mundo aparte." Whatever floats your boat. Me, I don't even want to go next week after it's over. Not until the next extra high tide
cycle takes the diapers, chip bags, beer & soda bottles out to sea.Bob H - 4-15-2006 at 05:45 AM
