Nice to have Pam as a certified IGFA rep. You just never know when a once in a lifetime fish may come along. Congratulations to a fellow Oregonian also. Way to go Mark.

is Eulogio Davis Sanchez one of your captains Pam?

That's quite a fish on a fly rod!

It's amazing the fish didn't rock him during the 45 minute battle.

Congrats.

Captains...

Yes he his Bruce. See this:

So far we have:

Captain Antonio Romero Murillo whose client Don Childress landed the men's 10Kg record dorado in July of 1997 (57.5 pounds) this record still stands!

Captain Francisco Munoz Tenorio whose client Lyle Clark won the men's 10Kg class tippet in 2003 with a 15 pound YT, the following year Lyle's fihsing partner Randy Tiemann landed a 21 pound YT breaking Lyle's record in April, the current record stands as 22 pounds 4 oz taken from Mission Bay, CA in July 2004. Mike's fish taken yesterday breaks this...

Captain Eulogio Davis Sanchez client Mark just landed a much larger YT of 31 pounds 0 oz yesterday. This will be submitted to IGFA on Monday as Mark needs to get the record application notarized by a US Notary before submitting. This record application will take about six months to process once it arrives at the IGFA headquarters.

Now Eulogio, Mark and Mark's wife Patty (a champoin caster and fly angler) are out as I write this. The current womens record YT on 10Kg class tippet is 9 pounds 6 oz taken at Mission Bay, CA also in July 2004 (probably husband/wife anglers). So Patty has an excellent chance of breaking this record....

OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU PATTY..GOOD LUCK!!
