Thanks Skeet,
We'll arrive in Loreto somewhere around the 18th or 19th. If you'll still be there it would be fun to say hello!
I'd hitch if it was me solo perhaps (I hitched from Seattle to Cabo once maaaaany years ago), but I wouldn't with my wife. EVEN though... she's (cute
and sweet, but...) tougher than a mad rattler..
I figured querying the Nomads board for a ride share either way was safe enough.... otherwise we'll take your advice and ride the bus, which can be
fun too!
Hope to see you in Loreto!

Maybe we can get a topic going called Bus Riding and Hitch Hiking in Baja!!
You started the topic!
In May of 1948 2 Days after Gaduating from Amarillo Hi School, at that time the Only Hi School in Amarillo[Except for the Hi School for Black People}.
My friend Richard Walls and I hopped a Freight Train headed North and to California;Hobo'ed all over the Western US. It was a different time in our
culture!!
Somtetimes , before the road was opened North of Loreto, I would fly into La Paz catch a diesel Truck going to service the Diesel Genarertors in Villa
Constitution then an easy Hitch from there to Loreto.
Several times after the road opened I would catch the bus North for TJ.
Hitching was fun during those times, but now with all the meanest going on I would not do it!! I would take the Bus and remember to take a Jacket, for
it is cold when you get close to the Coast[Guerreo Negro}.
Met some very interesting People!
