07 - 13 May 2006 - Happy Mothers Day ~ Here in Mexico we celebrated the day Wednesday the 10th.
Of the 77 Striped Marlin in this summary, 16 are accounted for on CaboMagicSportFishing Team boats invited to participate in the IGFA Rolex Event
Monday thru Thursday. A nice variety of fish caught by VIP guests this period.
On Saturday, the last day of this reporting period we began filming with Outdoor Life Network in association with Orion Multimedia and the Theodore
Roosevelt Conservation Partnership aboard "CABO MAGIC" and "CABO MAGIC Dos" for an exciting new show hosted by Marc Pierce. Special Guests NYC
Firefighter Rocky Raimondi was the Casting Winner and his dad Joe Raimondi a surprise guest. Day one they released two Striped Marlin. Stay tuned

When fishing visitors "get skunked" that is to say they have "no luck or no suerte". VIP clients who get "skunked" often report to us they were
pleased with our crews efforts in the hunt to find them fish & understand "thats why they call it fishing" Why do some boats catch fish while
others get "skunked"? So many contributing factors: Mother Nature, winds, water currents, tides, & fishing in the right place at the right time.
We encourage catch, revive & release of billfish indicated by "CR&R" on our reports. Our crews are skilled in the revival process &
implement this as needed. Sometimes a fish will die for numerous possible reasons. When that happens, our crews see to it that the flesh and carcass
are utilized in a responsible manner. A replica trophy can be made of a released fish. We are an authorized Gray taxidermy representative in Cabo
San Lucas and can assist you when you fish with us.
Remember the adage: "The shoemakers children have no shoes" Our crews are fishing because they love it and it's their job. They are working for you.
They & their families are sincerely appreciative & grateful when a VIP Guest donates eating fish to them in addition to a monetary propina
(gratuity). Eating fish includes Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, YellowTail, Sierra, Pargo, Amberjack, Shark, Cabrilla.
A reminder to all VIP Visitors that sunscreen can be considered one of the most important personal item to remember to pack. Bullfrog is an excellent
product and can be found in most all stores such as Target, RiteAid, Walmart, etc.
We encourage all VIP Visitors to respect Fish Quantity Limits and to practice Responsible Fishing Practices. We acknowledge those who support our
efforts by doing so.

Hey, you guys were busy last week, eh?
So many boats out on the water and such fun to watch them beating it home to weigh-ins!
I hear that Cabo stole this tournament from Hawaii because the fishing and facilities are better. Any truth to that rumor, CM?
