How about you tell a story or two about what your days are like living there and what your favorite activities are, like surfing, fishing, diving or
whatever you feel passionate about? I just think there aren't many young people that read this board! You can change that, just don't give up!! Wish I
had kids your age I could send to this board, but mine are grown and my G-kids are too young to participate.!

yes tell us about what it is like for a teenager living in Baja Ca.

My advice would be this:
Don't feel you need to write something every day, every other day, whatever. If you keep forcing yourself to post stuff, you'll just burn-out. So,
please don't do that.
If you want to be consistent, think of writing once a week (again, whatever time period you like) about either what you had the most fun with that
week, or something you learned that week (etc). At least that's a starting point for you. Write about things that will be fun for you to take the
time to write about.
If it's something fun, then people here can share your joys with you... and if it's something you've learned, we can then learn from you. Both
plus-plus situations.
...and whatever you do, don't listen to Hose A - he's trouble! (just kidding)

???
Ask more questions. You can carry on with dialog from many depending on your subject matter. It isn't always necessary to engage other teens. There
aren't that many available. Don't expect immediate compadres, these forums are
here for you to enjoy for a long time . No need to rush or worry about others joining in. But really Hose A, we'd rather hear about her
girlfriends.
"i have been writing about things that have been happening and well...now a days...nothing is happening"
jaja, so when you get on the phone......you have nothing to say?
no way. i have two, they ALWAYS have sumpin' to say!
And don't worry about "the foot in the mouth".... I practice that daily here and.................hey, maybe that's why they all hate me!
Most of all, smile!

Having spent two years in Cuernavaca in the '50's and being a gringo I remember how much fun it was to just pal around with Mexican and American
friends alike. I was 12 or so then and we'd hike the desert and walk along lonely railroad tracks that seemingly led to nowhere; we'd capture wild
burros and ride the hillsides of Popo and Ista. We'd visit the native Indians that had a squatters camp just a hundred yards from our house on what
was then Calle Taxco numero 5. We'd wander the plaza in downtown Cuernavaca, much different than it is today, we'd buy fireworks in the hundreds for
pennies and M&M's by the gram. We'd sit at a cafe in the plaza and watch the stray dogs bum food from a table and waiting 'til they were rewarded
before moving to the next table. On Sundays and other times of significance the mission bells would enliven the town as we walked to the houses of
our friends. We'd hitch rides on our bikes into school by grabbing onto the back of a passing bus and wobbling down the cobblestone streets into the
center. We'd scoot off into the hillsides of the town and shoot BB guns and con our parents into taking us to Palobolero where we swam in the shallow
lake and climbed behind the waterfall to dive through it. In the afternoons, after school let out, we'd lie on the grass of the grounds on our backs
and share our thoughts, some dreams, some realistic, with each other.
I'd like to see those friends once again, just to see how our lives turned out, as expected (I hope not) or otherwise. It was such a wonderful
moment, that small slice of time and place. These are simple thoughts that all of us have shared in one way or another.
If you feel a need to write your thoughts that is great. When it becomes a compulsion that is even better. Sometimes compelling concepts don't fall
exactly where you'd like them, all arranged in an order. Sometimes it just takes sitting back and observing and trying to place everything into a
perspective that helps open thoughts to others, other thoughts and other friends as well.
Take your time. There is no preordained schedule. When you're ready your heart will tell you so.
I wish you the very best.
