Taking the bus from Ensenada

We need to catch a bus tomorrow afternoon from Ensenada to Bahia Tortugas via Vizcaino to help a friend sail a boat back to Ensenada.

What is the location of the main bus station in Ensenada?

I have seen the website for ABC (under construction) and called for scheduling info. Mi espanol es muy malo, but I think they said that the bus leaves Ensenada at 7:00 PM takes 11 hours which makes the arrival in Vizcaino 7:00 AM local time.

I can not find any contact info for Aguila. I assume they would have an office at the station in town? I am hoping they have an earlier bus?

Anybody have any recent experience with either bus line?

There is a 'shuttle' type service that runs between Vizcaino and Tortugas, it departs for Tortugas at 6:00 AM local time and the AbC bus gets in at 7:00 or 8:00 am as far as I can tell?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Gato, the bus terminal is on the corner of Riveroll and Decima (10th street).

I think the tortugas shuttle van leaves after the busses get in and it may wait for the 8:00 bus too and leave after that. Look for my pal Wendy who speaks awesome spanish and is doing her thesis there, she can help you out translating or ask for Benito and tell him I gave you his name. Muchas Gracias Roberto for the map! We will head striaght for the terminal when we get to Ensenada tomorrow and check the schedules.

Muchas Gracias Shari for the contact info! We will ask around when we arrive. Would you know if there are any scuba divers in Tortugas? The boat has a small problem with one of the shafts on a motor and the skipper is considering trying to fix it in the water before departing?

EGL-There should be plenty of divers in that area. They dive for abalone and conche. Have fun and give me a shout when you return.

Matt - i may hop over sat morning to see how yur doing, you get in thurs morning if leaving wed night, right?

then was going to stop at Ascuncion. or hang at Tortugas for the night .

if you see this before you leave call me ok?
