Bahia Asuncion Traditional Fiestas

In case anyone is planning to be in our area in August, you may want to plan to be here from August 22-25 to enjoy the Traditional Fiestas. There are lots of fun beach events during the day and horse races, rodeo etc and dances every night with live bands. The first night has a presentation of the crowning of the queen which is quite a sight and interesting cultural event. Also there is a fair with rides for the kids and food booths etc. It's really fun.

August in Asuncion is lovely...not too stinking hot like other baja places as it hasocean breezes to keep it nice. They usually grade the road for the Fiestas so it should be fine...a half hour of dirt road if ya drive slow! Tons of places to camp or stay with us...it's a fun place with few visitors so it's a real cultural experience. Also great surf in summer...south swell!
