Sold Money exchange and financial services business

Bruce R Leech - 7-5-2006 at 08:48 AM

Hello My name is Edith Jauregui Meza I am the wife of Bruce R Leech I am selling my business here in Mulege because we are moving to Ensenada for family matters.
This is a grate way to supplement your income while living here in Baja Ca. this Business doesn't?t require any employs and lets you pick the days and hours that you like to be open. You will earn around 2000.00 dollars per month.

What I do
I change Money dollars to pesos, pesos to dollars, cash travelers checks, do wire transfers, get cash for people on there credit or debit cards, and make all types of loans. A very small part of my income is from the loans you may not want to do that part. I also sell fishing licenses and boat permits .I have been doing this for about 5 years in Mulege. It works well here because there are no Banks or ATM's and not much possibility of any coming to Mulege.

What I?m not selling
Any real estate or business location.

What I am selling
All necessary equipment, custom computer programs, computers, forms and training, help in setting up your accounts and permits.

Price for business is only 4500.00 US

For more information please u2u

Thanks Edith

To help others understand what is available can you speculate as to what buildings can be leased/bought.
What other services the area could use like Coffee shop, internet Wifi. movie rental? is there a T1 line available?

What is the time frame for sell?

Is this serious? A big blow to the Mulege community, I would say. :O

Best of luck up north!

Hey, wait a minute... family matters... you aren't by chance joining in on your cousin Pilar's land business up there, are you?

(Yeah, that was in poor taste, wasn't it. Shows you something about my sense of humor.)

there are several good locations for sale or rent here but this business dos not need to stay in Mulege either.

It would be a good business in Loreto, a one bank town with a very huge long line. I'd rather use this kind of service and pay extra than waste my time in that &$@*%^ bank line!

Can a non-national operate a money exchange? I was told that I couldn't.
