Bruce I did see some mini storage units on the free road near Puerto Nuevo/Las Rocas.DanO - 7-11-2006 at 08:41 AM
There is a mini storage place just north of Rosarito, on the east side of the toll road.bajabound2005 - 7-11-2006 at 11:25 AM
there is one on the transpeninsular, east side, between Maneadero and Ensenada. They are painted up to look like a Public Storage like in the US.
Will probably drive by it tomorrow, will get the name of it for you.Bruce R Leech - 7-11-2006 at 02:56 PM

if you could get the phone # also it would be useful. Maybe they are in the phone Book but all I have is a book For Baja Sur.bajaguy - 7-12-2006 at 08:57 PM

I should mention they also seem to store animals there...when we stopped by there were 2 ostriches and a burro...wish I'd taken photos!Bruce R Leech - 7-29-2006 at 08:02 AM
bajabound2005 thank you so much. as usual things didn't go as we expected on this trip but fortunately we were prepared with the info you gave us. we
rented one of the storage units and left our thing there. it would have been a big problem had we not had your help.
by the way the units are very clean and secure and I would recommend this business to all Nomads.
bajabound2005 we we will be making a couple more trips in August and I hope to meet you some time.bajabound2005 - 7-29-2006 at 08:57 PM
de nada, Bruce! Glad to be of help. We could end up in that storage place ourselves! Did you see the burro and emu?? OR was that an ostrich? Very
nice folks running the place and they speak Engish as well as Spanish...a bonus to those of us still learning. We'll be here forever, Bruce. Getting
ready to sign a land lease and get our little piece of paradise built to our specs... have a quick run (well, 3 wks or so) back to the States in
October but THEN we're be here forever. So for all you smokers -- suck up and DEAL. We've found (yup, off topic again) that most smokers in
restaurants are gringos, not mexicanos!Bruce R Leech - 7-30-2006 at 07:38 AM
bajabound2005 yes we saw the burro and the pare of ostriches they belong to the owners.
maybe we will get to meet you on one of our trips coming up. we will be living there by the end of the year.
