Because of responces posted on the El Rosario Festival thread regarding ordering more hats:

Please use this classified ads forum thread to request your 'got baja?' hat...

Let me know how many of you Nomads want one (or more) so I can get an idea of how many to have made...

Tan with velcro size adjustment is probably the way to go...?

I will let you know when I get the costs and estimated shipping charge... They will be made in Baja, as are the 'got baja?' stickers.

Put us down for 10 hats! Everyone asks us about our stickers...I'm tellin' you, ya should sell those stickers! At least get SASEs from folks!

And set up a PAYPAL acct so everyone can PREPAY for the hats so you can CYA.

Thanks for the nice words... while it does cost me to mail out the stickers, it is my pleasure to give something back to all who share their stories here and get a smile off the 'got baja?' stickers... I mean there is just about every other 'got (something)?' sticker out there... right? A couple of you have mailed me stamps or donated to a good cause in Baja, which is great.

I mean you guys are great people, and this Baja Nomad site (like the Amigos de Baja site before) is a wonderful way to share Baja details and meet friends... also to help others.

I think we like to express our Baja love affair, and bumper stickers are one way... Until Doug produces Baja Nomad stuff, my 'got baja?' or the previous 'Viva Baja' stickers is a way we can spot a friend on the road.

The stickers will be free while they last, and I hope to offer the hats at a reasonable price... specially for orders of 10 or more!

I think your 'got baja ?' stickers are the most recognizable Baja memorebelia in recent history. I sure get a lot of comments on ours.

At my recent Visit at Lera's Casa in La Paz there were some real good Nomads who could be the next "David K. of Baja Sur".

As you all Know the Norte is getting overrun by all the Tourist- Baja Sur is still unspoiled{ at least for the next 5 years}

Okay amigos... it is looking like something we can do with the response so far!

I am going to try and make this work to the benefit of BajaNomad.com and have already talked with Doug about making the hats an item on Doug's "Tienda Baja Nomad" located at the top of each Nomad page in the brown bar. That way it will be easy for you to order and use PayPal, etc.

Fresh email from Antonio says prices still being calculated... IF is is less expensive to have just the 'got baja?' on them (like the ones I had made in the photo above) instead of the 'got baja?/vivabaja.com' oval logo I will make them that way... Fun shouldn't be expensive... right gang?

DK, Vivabaja would be nice, looking closely at your hats they look great, maybe a quarter space on "?". Cost wise I could not accept less for price and if it is a issue then I would prefer the oval around GOT BAJA to Vivabaja on the back.
I am a cap collector, and the last two Baja Hats I bought are sorrily lacking in stability after first wash. I feel this is an important issue and am hoping for a good outcome. I speak only for myself, but the price is not "hat" important.

Hat Prices will be posted tonight, as soon as I confirm with Doug about having them sold on Baja Nomad and the final price... I will start a new thread in this forum with the price.

Good news on the cost of shipping to Canada and Mexico (air mail was better than ground), plus all U.S. orders will be sent Priority Mail (it actually was the best deal).

I can make as many as you guys want... the source is good... I had enough $$ to actually make several for those of you who order first, so no long wait to get your hats... the rest of you, as soon as your checks or credit card clears (if done through Doug's PayPal), I will place additional orders which should take no more than a week, I believe.

From the u2u's and emails I have received (added to the posts in this thread), it would appear that well over 100 people will 'get' Baja in the first orders.

I guess t-shirts are not far behind (with pockets, yes)! I want a large Baja map or the peninsula outline to be the primary item, with 'got baja?' as the message... I think that would be really cool!
