This place has always been one of my favorites. Killer tacos de pescado, camaron, callo and some other meat ones that I have never tried. They also
have seafood c-cktails.
Our lunch today was 3 fish tacos, 2 scallop tacos and 2 bottled cokes...86 pesos
AND they have air conditioning! This is very important this time of year. It was actually a little cool.
AND it is a non smoking restaurant
i agree

Bajajudy, STOP IT! We'll be eating at Tacos Rossy in a couple of weeks, now you have made the wait even worse! Not a particularly fancy place, but a
beautiful view of the carreteria......they just have great food!
We also like Zaguan Restaurant in Todos Santos. Great tacos. I had tacos de pescado last time I was there a couple of months ago and the owner of
the place said they used a fish called "robalo." He said it wasn't available very often.

Oh man...robalo is snook. The best tasting fish in the world (IMHO). You were one lucky dude. They were right you dont see it much.
They are running in front of the estuary now, BTW. Salt and fresh water combo is their favorite habitat.
I will have to try Zaquan again...my first experience was not good.

About 3 or 4 doors down from Tecolote bookstore, same side of street.
It is not a "restaurant" per se. It is more like an open air alcove off the street. They have a couple of tables on the street and then about 6 more
in the alcove. Usually they have a menu board on the street. The owner's mother lives in the house behind the cocina. I believe they are open for
lunch only, but I could be mistaken. We have never had a bad meal there. Not the cheapest place, but not expensive either...tres tacos de robalo,
arroz, y frijoles - 65 pesos
Check out the unisex, "on your honor" bano (you just turn the cardboard sign on the "door" one way or the other - occupado/libre). My wife says it is
one of the cleanest she has ever encountered in any eating establishment anywhere.
ill be checking it out

I ate at Zaguan last March with my 2 friends who were visiting from Montana.
We liked the food, and loved the bathroom!El Jefe - 7-28-2006 at 07:59 AM
Paula and I ate at Tacos Rossy on Wednesday as a reward for making it into town after the tormenta. The roads were sketchy and we were glad to have
4WD. After the big adventure, the tacos were outstanding. We stocked up on provisions at Costco and Mega and were home in time for ice cream.
yum!

Tacos Rossy is the best! We make sure we stop there at least a couple times during each visit.
We also love the stuffed potatoes (best w/the alhambra -- sp?) at Tacos Erika. So good! (Last trip, we sat down only to find out the potatoes are
served "sometime" after 6:30 or so in the evening. We left, browsed the discount store across the street and came back for our potatoes!)
