American Airlines is getting set to launch another Mexican route just in time for the winter high season south of the border.
December 16 is the start date for nonstop New York JFK to San Jose del Cabo (SJD) service. A 188-seat Boeing 757 will make the run out of Kennedy,
ferrying fliers to Baja California from New York through April 9, 2007.
American already enjoys a significant presence at Los Cabos, offering three daily nonstops from its Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) megahub, double-daily
nonstops from Los Angeles International (LAX), and thrice-weekly flights from Chicago O?Hare.
The JFK to San Jose del Cabo nonstop will operate on Saturdays only. Southbound, Flight 607 departs JFK at 11am and arrives in Los Cabos at 3:01pm.
The return trip, AA608, pushes back from the gate at 4pm and arrives at Kennedy at 10:50pm in decent time so you can sleep in Sunday morning and rest
up from your vacation for the work week ahead.thebajarunner - 7-27-2006 at 07:29 PM
