trying to figure out how to post a pic!
I'll be darned if it didn't work!
This is a herd? school? of porpoise going like a bat out on hek. Must have been 2 or 3 hundred of them. I don't know what the endanger ones look
like but these guys were the right size. Biggist about 4 1/2 feet. A minute after this shot the Sea all around us was FILLED with them as they went
around.

The endangered mammal is the vaquita, lives in the Northern Sea of Cortez.

Taken on the return trip from the northern tip of Isla Coronados out N.E. of Loreto on 2/13/02 kind of felt it might be a little south for the
endangered ones, just had never met these guys before. Have other shots but they are just a froth of tails and bodies.
