Reversing order of Postings

Shimmer - 8-13-2006 at 12:12 PM

Is there a way to have the postings align so the newest entry of a thread is at the top... I've looked but can't seem to find a setting to set that up....... it would help keeping up with threads with out having to scroll over already read items to get to the newest entry.... at the end.

Dont click on the name of the thread....go over to the right side and click on the arrow by the name of the last person who posted on that thread and it will take you to the end of the thread and you can go backwards from there.

Just go to the thread you want to read and open it. Hold down the "control" button and then press the "end" button. That will take you down to the bottom of the postings where the newest post is. If there is more than one page in the thread, click on the last page and then do the two finger salute as described above.

WOW! Bajajudy's way is much better!

Or right-click the far right hand margin for a window that says "bottom".

I just read them all over again from the top......saves pushing all those keys and mouse....;)

As described, the arrow image takes you to the last posting in the thread from the forum view, or the last post in the forum from the front page of the forums.

There is not an option to reverse order.

If you really want to see it this way, click "Post Reply" - and scroll down.

Thanks Doug......... it seems I now have two ways to achieve what I was looking for.... avoiding having to repeatedly scroll for miles on long threads I am following.

Thanks Judy--most simple--when you know it!
