sorry for not searching, i realize there's probably a lot of great info archived here, but a quick answer will suffice..
can people under 25 rent baja-ready vehicles from tijuana or ensanada or somewhere else near the border? most american companies won't rent under 25,
and certainly not to drive into mexico with an expensive SUV... are mexican companies any different?
thanks for your help.. just point the way (if there is one) and i'll go from there.

Budget will rent to the under 25 crowd...you do have to have a CC or debit card with a visa or mastercard logo on it. I don't think the Mexican
rental companies have the same sort of rules (I could very well be wrong here) either way.....remember it is very expencive to rent a rig in Baja, and
then you have to deal with the Mexican ins. you would be better off (if money is an issue) to take the bus. Either way, have fun.
Forgot to mention......there are several 'rent a wreck' type places near the border you might check out.
