seven sisters road

Does anyone have information on the road to the seven sisters? I have heard that there is damage from the recent hurricane? Also curious about the road to the wall.

:?: If you could be more specific someone may recognize the area you are writing about. I've driven the coast from El Rosario to San Ignacio for many years and still don't know where "the wall" is. Seven sisters covers a large area of the coast, you should not have problem coming from the south (Santa Rosalillita) until you hit silt where the road turns north inland.

seven sister specifically

I understand. The seven sisters and are the seven point norht of Santa rosalillita. I am planning on going alll the way up to Punta Maria. I read in Longboard magazine that the road was trashed. The wall is basically Punta Rosarito, south of Rosalillita. It is a firing right that is very consistent in the winter. The road out to the wall contains some sections that are in gullys and if the hurricane rolled through it could have taken out that road as well.

thanks

Can someone name all 7 sisters for me? I count the number of points and there seem to be more than 7.
Gracias, Bob H :)

Muy Malo

The road to 7 Sistahs is thrashed. Even the first big gully crossing with the bridge is wiped out. Prepare thy self for some serious 4 wheeling especially north of the lighthouse. Talcum powder dust has turned to binding axle glue, bring your highlift jack and traction pads. Go light on the heavy stuff or you'll be packing it around the mud flats or down the cobble beaches as the drop offs have been carved away by the rain/surf so general beach access is aweful. HAve fun!

I heard it is the points with female names (ending in 'a') that make up 7 sisters. However, no one map seems to have all the points, one must combine AAA, Baja Atlas, Baja Almanac, and Lower California Guidebook maps to get them or include some masculine named surf points (like Punta Diablo). 'Scorpion Bay' (PuntaPequena/ San Juanico) probably doesn't have any scorpions in the bay... "but it's a cool name, dude!" (visualize Jeff Spacoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High).

The Wall

The road to & from the Wall is do-able. We drove it 12/23 and 12/26, & found it to be a combination of gigantic puddles, huge rocks, and creative offshoots about 2 feet from these obstacles. We hit one section on the way out & our truck is now gushing oil at about a quart a day. Oops.
