When my daughter returned from Mexico ten days ago she brought half a loaf of Wonder pan integral that I just found in the fridge. Looks OK. Just pondering an avo sandwich. Gonna go for it.......

the equivalent of a whole wheat bread in the States?

Are you sure it isn't Pan Bimbo? Either way, Bimbo or Wonder Bread, if you are still pondering and have trouble making decisions, you could return to the fridge a year from now and it would still be fresh. Hope this helps.:D

It's Mexican Wonderbread. You can't hurt it. It has so many preservatives it should keep forever.

My wife loves the Pan Integral (whole wheat) shop that is right across the street (kitty corner) from my favorite liqour store in TJ. She gets the bellybuttons and the snails and the bolios and the dead bread and........she freezes them in airtight bags and we enjoy them frequently.

Right next door is a shop that specializes in foods for diabetics and others on special diets. Has a small cafe inside and stuff to go.

Yea looks, and tastes like whole wheat wonder bread here. Think I'm OK. Long shelf life either way.........
